After almost two years on the market, the house at the center of the 2019 horror movie Girl On The Third Floor is officially off the market!

Flipped to modern standards and listed during the pandemic, the property may have suffered from a little bit of what is called in real estate “property stigmatization.” And yet, 1 in 3 Americans would live in a haunted house!

As earlierly reported by me in 2021, the three story Victorian built in 1909 was first listed after its major renovation on October 21, 2021 (numerologists I’m sure of loads to comment on with that sequence of numbers). Then the house was taken off and put back on the market three times, before the asking price was reduced by 11.3%. It was finally sold this year on March 31, 2023 at $399,000.

Who bought the house on 207 Center Rd, Frankfort, IL 60423? Online public records aren’t always dependable, but from what True People Search lists three owners: Robert P Kozak, Benjamin G Kalaman and Kristen A Pratt.

I think it’d be great if the house was turned into one of those historic house museum stops, like the ones you see all across the world in small towns with long histories. Similar to how UIC runs the Jane Addams Hull House.

If you happen to know if there are any cool plans in store, would you contact me?
