It’s National Read A Book Day and I want to take this opportunity to point out that I’ve been noticing a lot more children’s books coming out during COVID-19. I think we have a children’s book boom on our hands! And the best thing about it is that we are seeing unknowns enter the authors arena. Moms taking a chance and seizing this time to make their dream of writing a book come true. Sure, you’d not be suprised to hear about Chicago moms getting into children book writing and illustrating—there’s this stereotype of the Chicago moms being more “sophisticated” or something like that. But oh how wrong that is. Keep your eyes on these two Tinley Park Moms who just released their first children’s books:
