Tinley Library Postpones Sunday Afternoon High Teas Till 2023
I was browsing the Tinley Park Public Library’s website and found a regular offsite event I thought you mothers, daughters, gals et al. would be interested in. But unfortuntaley the monthly event is being put on hold until next spring or summer, according to Tinley Park Public Library Adult services librarian Alyssa.
“There is no immediate plan to have that event anytime soon. The Programming and Outreach Department that scheduled the initial event is looking at hosting it again in the future, but it wouldn’t be until next spring or summer.”Alyssa L. (Adult Services Librarian)
But if you want to host an event at Local One Station like High Tea now, you can do so!
Also, Local 1 plans to give year-round weekend themed events at the train station, such as High Tea, Mother’s Day Brunch, Paint & Sip Night and Garden Terrarium Night, at 1:00 PM on Saturdays throughout the year.
“Currently we are only doing private catered events at the Station due to the lack of traffic through the facility. We do High Tea private events though.”Daniel Fitzgerald (sent over e-mail)
What Are Local 1 and Local One Station?
I broke the story on Local 1 last September, before its soft opening. You can read that article on the Chicago Tribune website.
