Tinley Park Lost and Found Pets Page

July is National Lost Pet Prevention Month and though you might not own a pet yourself, you’ve probably met someone who has lost a pet.

Back in March the Village of Tinley Park created a new Lost and Found Pets page on their newly designed website.

This new page creates a more centralized and organized way for Tinley Park residents to keep track of their lost pets. It’s also convenient for people who look to help find lost pets in their neighborhood on a regular basis.

Besides being something new and relevant to Tinley Park residents, the other reason I’m sharing about this new Lost and Found Pets page is because I have experience with a pet going missing. It’s a deeply affecting experience to lose someone you love, and pets are no exception. So I want Tinley Park residents and people who have lost pets know that it is possible to find your pet, miracles can happen. If you look to see what resources you have in your town or area and involve your community in your search efforts, you’ll be amazed at how much easier it will be to get through those hard days of not knowing where your pet is.
