Learn the journey of Katie Rich, the female co-creator of the highly anticipated new Netflix animated series “Chicago Party Aunt.” It turns out Katie grew up right here in the Chicago South Suburbs!

A Carl Sandburg High School Alum, with both Orland Park roots, I had to learn more about this very talented actress and comedy writer.

Watch my exclusive Zoom interview with Katie Rich to discover how she went from the Chicago Southland to Second City to SNL to Netflix, and everything in between. Oh, and she also shares her favorite places here in the South Suburbs of Chicago. And if you’re curious, check out the Chicago Party Aunt Twitter account that started it all: https://twitter.com/ChiPartyAunt

And not only is she one of the creators and show writers of the titular character Diane Dunbrowski, Katie also happens to be a voice actor in the show (named Zuzana)!

There’s no question that all of us here in the Southwest Chicago Suburbs will be rooting for this hometown girl.

“Chicago Party Aunt” premieres on Netflix September 17, 2021.

And Big, big, huge, enormous thank you to Tinley Park Mom Maria D.K. (don’t want people stalking you after this) who made this interview possible. The power of moms is real ?! Oh and Maria, ?? call me anytime for a favor. ?
