“Hello, Global Charmed fandom! Wondering if Charmed: The Illustrated Storybook will be available in your country? Here’s a VERY oversimplified primer on the complicated process of International Editions. Insight Editions has an incredible Foreign Rights team. Their job is to take our book and sell it to publishers in countries where you all live. Those publishers buy the files, translate them, and get them into stores and online where they sell them to you. The foreign rights team does everything they can to convince these publishers to publish the book. But these publishing companies are being pitched books from publishing companies all over the US. How do we stand out? Good question. I have no idea. Hold up Charmed banners outside the annual Bologna Book Fair, maybe? (I kid.) One thing is when the foreign rights team can say “Look how much interest there is in the book.” So continue spread the news wherever you are. Also, I see that Amazon UK has the book listed, but won’t let you buy it. You can “add it to the list.” If you’re comfortable giving them your email, add it to the list. They notice things like that.
