New Indoor Rock Climbing Spot for Chicagoland Kids: Movement
Our daughter is seriously getting interested in rock climbing and I think I’ve found an indoor rock climbing spot that might give our Mission Impossible girl the thrill seeking she’s after.
Located in the Chicago neighborhood of Lincoln Park, Movement Lincoln Park is having a kids climb time next Friday on August 5th from 6:30 – 8:30 PM. A nice preview for parents looking for a regular spot for their 6-12 year old to be dropped off for hours of climbing and activities. Activities include vertical games, age-appropriate basic skills instruction, and tons of climbing, all under the guidance of qualified instructors. No experience or parental supervision is necessary.
- Movement’s climbing facilities are meant for children no younger than 6 years of age.
Located at 1460 N. Dayton St., Movement Lincoln Park offers more than 43,000 square feet of climbing, yoga, and fitness. In addition to the kids climb time, Movement Lincoln Park also offers after school programs, camps, climbing parties, and youth teams.
I’m still searching for indoor rock climbing spots closer to us, but Movement is going to be hard to beat. Time to meet new friends and climb some walls! ?
Here’s more info on the youth programs: https://movementgyms.com/lincoln-park/climbing/youth-programs/
Hope to see you there!
Backstory: Movement first opened in Wrigelyville on September 1, 2021 and then the Lincoln Park one opened 2 months later on November 6, 2021. Movement is 20 year old chain of neighborhood climbing gyms across America.
