Life is the bubbles when you’ve got bubbly friends and family willing to make bath bombs with you. Over the weekend we made a splash having fizzy fun mixing, molding and creating our very own bath bombs—at one my husband Geoff’s favorite stores.

If you know Geoff, you know that he danes to go shopping. He maybe goes to the mall 4 times a year, either to play with our daughter at the arcade, and to visit two stores—and only for practical reasons mind you—Apple or LUSH.

He works hard, and he takes care of himself hard. He is GeofFresh. And what better way to level up a party for Geoff than to give him an unique experience that we knew he would love without a doubt.

What Is Lush?

The way my daughter and I learned about the bath bomb parties at Lush was while shopping for my husband’s birthday present. Lush Fresh Handmade Cosmetics is a company that makes handmade bath bombs, soaps, body washes, and other cosmetic products from fresh, organic fruit and vegetables. Using essential oils and safe synthetics, with little to no preservatives or packaging, and using only vegetarian ingredients. Lush is located in Orland Square Mall on the lower lever center court, near the Food Court.

They’re products can be a little pricy, but you’re sure to find something you like and that’s always worth it. Especially when you consider the healthiness factor of these products over most over-the-counter bath and body products.

What You Get With A Lush Party

A Lush in-store party last for 1 hour and 30 minutes. Before your Lush party however, you the party planner will need to fill out a form with a Lush team member you book with.

You can select to have your party make more than one bath bomb if you like, but you must choose between two themes: Fun and Games or Treat Yourself, each shaping the mood and atmosphere for your celebration.

A 50% deposit of the total amount is required upon booking, with the remaining balance payable in-store on the day of the party. Alternatively, you have the option to pay the full amount on the day of booking.

Consuming food is not permitted during the party in adherence to their health and safety policy. However, you are welcome to bring water for your guests to stay hydrated.

The guest of honor receives three exclusive products to take home (one of which are a bath bomb in the shape of their age number). You can even pick from a range of exclusive products to add to the party favor bags for your guests to take home. Lush also offers free party invitations for you to send out too.

For our party of 7 people the total cost came to $308.70 including tax. We made our own single bathbomb, got into teams to compete in a game of who can make the bath with the tallest bomb bubble sud tower. We also went on a scavenger hunt through the store which was actually a challenge. Erica was our host and she was wonderful. Our 6 year old daughter was so into every step. And the bath bomb party favor gift bags had fantastic surprise goodies inside. We didn’t realize it until we got home, but even our dog Sammie got a surprise: a Lush bandana!

In the final analysis, we are so glad we did this.

And how did Geoff like all the goodies he received from his Lush Birthday Party you ask? The proof will be in the pampering, and we soon will find out the next time he takes a bath…which will be tomorrow morning.

A Note About Minors

The minimum age requirement is 6. For guests under 16, an accompanying adult must stay throughout the party. The store requests that only a maximum of two parents stay to observe during children’s parties, allowing others to explore shopping for an hour and a half, much to their delight!
